Paul Pinkewich has been arranging tours to the major tournaments and championships since 2004 and with his connections when he was a national team player for 25 years in the Australian Team, Paul is very passionate to bring table tennis to a new level by taking other table tennis fanatics and getting similar experiences that he had whilst in the National Team.
In 2005 Paul took a group to the World Championships in Shanghai and enroute played friendly matches in Hong Kong and the veterans tournament in Hangzhou.Watching the Waldners and the Europeans pit themselves against the Chinese was an experience to behold.
In 2006 the trip to the World Veterans Championships in Bremen with 55 people on his bus tour of Germany enroute to Bremen from Frankfurt was a delight as we played several matches in various towns and the comradery on these trips was very enjoyable coupled with sightseeing in between table tennis matches.Then the big arena of Bremen with over 3000 players taking part was an experience of a lifetime and these tours are open to anyone who is interested in table tennis at any level, whether you are an e grader or to the elite level.Pauls daughter and other people not playing Table tennis also accompanied thee group and a good time was had by all.
In May of 2008 once again a group went with Paul to the World Veterans Championships in Brazil and then after the championships went on a sightseeing tour covering the sights of Machu Picchu,Iguasso Falls, Cusco.Lima, Peru and Chili.
The next event on Pauls calendar is a planned trip to a major Asian Veterans tournament in Taipei followed by going to Tokyo, then watching the individual championships in Yokohama .More on this in the upcoming tour section
2010, tour to China culminating with the 15th World Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Mongolia
